Larry Heard – Alien
A couple of years ago I found this album called “Alien” by Larry Heard. A good friend of mine introduced me to his music and when I saw this CD in a bargain bin I bought it and was amazed by its music and production.
On this release from 1996 the music moves more [...]

The other week I heard this duo from New Zealand called Flight of the Conchords on the always excellent podcast Sound Opinions. They played the track “Bowie” and it was just so funny and good and then funny again.
Flight of the Conchords could be followed on their own TV show on HBO.
The description on their myspace page read “Folk / Afro-beat [...]

Last night my wife and I enjoyed a fine wine from one of the bottles shown in this picture.
I have to confess that I have a very weak spot for watching cooking shows on TV. One of my favourite is Canadian Michael Smith in his Chef at Home series. In one episode from the first season he [...]

Here is a preview of the DVD Cover I made for my recorded episodes of Chef at Home – Season One with Michael Smith. I will make it available for download here as soon at it is completed, just a little fine tuning left…
In the last episode I watched Michael Smith talked about how he loved to think [...]
Charlotte Perrelli what will happen?

I was just wonder what will happen to my blogstats if I put the name Charlotte Perrelli in my post and tags today?
I am NOT a big fan of the Eurovision Song Contest, in my opinion it is impossible to compete in music. The other thing that annoys me is all the media coverage and hype [...]
